About Me

Hello, I’m İskender Kömür. I started my journey in Interior Architecture, but my passion for digital spaces let me to the world of XR.

​

For the last 5 years and 2 months, I worked at QReal (New York), where I evolved from a 3D Specialist to an XR Expert, and ultimately served as a Team Lead for nearly three years.

​

What I love most is the challenge of optimization. Whether it’s Web Viewers or Snapchat’s strict 8MB limit, I specialize in fitting high-fidelity, complex ideas into tight constraints without sacrificing visual quality.

​

During my time at QReal, I played an active role in over 400 projects, personally managing nearly 150 of them. These included huge commercial collaborations for global brands like Nike, Adidas, Chanel, IKEA, Walmart, and Amazon, producing high-end assets that millions of users interacted with.

Beyond client work, I’m deeply passionate about digital fashion. I’m proud to share that my personal try-on project, "alsoWearNextYear" was selected for exhibition at London Fashion Week and received an award for its innovation.
